What do I need to apply?

What qualification do I need to work with Simico?

The requirements for each role depend on the type of job you are applying for.

Nurses must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency (AHPRA).

Support workers must hold a Certificate III or higher. The preferred Certificate III qualifications are:

  • Certificate III in Disability
  • Certificate III in Individual Supports
  • Certificate III in Aged Care
What checks and accreditations do I need before I can apply for a job?

All employees must have at least two years of recent relevant experience and provide:

  1. National Police Clearance
  2. Working with Children Check
  3. NDIS Clearance
  4. First aid and CPR certificate
  5. Up-to-date vaccination record
  6. Visa with appropriate work rights (if you are a foreign resident)
  7. Drivers licence
  8. 100 points of ID
