Where is Simico currently operating?

Simico is currently delivering services across New South Wales with a strong presence across greater western Sydney. We work where we live and are committed to improving the lives of our community members. However, we are not limited to this region, and have the ability to scope, recruit, and deploy into other regions across New South Wales.

What type of work is available?

We place support workers and nurses across interesting and varied disability and aged care settings.

Do I have to accept any work that is offered to me?

No. Our employees enjoy the freedom to choose when and where they work. There are no mandatory shift requirements.

What are the minimum requirements for a role with Simico?

The requirements for each role depend on the type of job you are applying for.

Nurses must be registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Agency (AHPRA).


Support workers must hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or higher.

All employees must have at least two years of recent relevant experience and provide:


  1. National Police Clearance
  2. Working with Children Check
  3. NDIS Clearance
  4. First aid and CPR certificate
  5. Up-to-date vaccination record
  6. Visa (if you’re an international student or nurse)
  7. Drivers licence
  8. 100 points of ID
What are the steps to employment?

When being considered for a position, all applicants will be guided through a structured recruitment process. We will work with you to help you understand the requirements and prepare effectively. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a face-to-face interview.

When will I get paid?

At Simico we pay weekly to help you stay ahead of your financial and budgeting needs.

Do I need my own insurance or an ABN to work with Simico?

No. You will be employed by Simico and protected by our insurance cover.
